Private chauffeur hire · Melbourne A car and chauffeur, for as long as you need.
Hourly chauffeur hire gives you a private car and driver for a block of time rather than a single trip. Your chauffeur takes you between as many stops as you like and waits at each, so a night at the theatre, a long lunch or a day in the Yarra Valley runs to your timing. Hourly hire starts from $104.50 incl. GST ($95 + GST) an hour in an Executive Sedan.

An evening without watching the clock
Book the car for the evening and it is yours: dinner in the city, a show at Arts Centre Melbourne or the Princess Theatre, drinks afterwards, and home when you are ready. Nobody has to stay sober to drive, and nobody waits on a cold footpath for a ride that keeps cancelling.
Your chauffeur drops you at the door, waits nearby and is back at the kerb when you call, so the night ends when you decide rather than when the last train does.
Winery days, big events and long lunches
A day among the cellar doors of the Yarra Valley or the Mornington Peninsula is better when nobody has to drive. Tell us the wineries and restaurants you have in mind and roughly when, and we quote the whole day with the car waiting at every stop.
The same works for Melbourne's big days — the Australian Open, the Grand Prix at Albert Park, the Spring Racing Carnival at Flemington, a final at the MCG — when parking is scarce and rideshare queues are long. We drop you as close as the event's traffic plan allows and collect you afterwards.

Chauffeur hire by the hour · good to know
Questions people ask
How much does it cost to hire a chauffeur by the hour in Melbourne?
As a guide, hourly chauffeur hire with Royal Baron Chauffeurs is Executive Sedan $104.50, Premium Sedan $148.50, Premium SUV $126.50, Luxury People Mover $132, Luxury Minibus $187 an hour, including GST. Your quote covers the whole time the car is with you and is agreed before you travel.
Does the chauffeur wait between stops?
Yes. With hourly hire the car and chauffeur stay with you for the time you book, waiting at each stop and ready when you are. Waiting within the hours you book is part of the hire, not an extra.
Can you take us on a winery tour in the Yarra Valley or Mornington Peninsula?
Yes. Tell us the wineries, restaurants and timings you have in mind — or just the region and the size of the group — and we quote the day with the car waiting at each stop. A people mover or minibus keeps a larger group together.
Can I book a chauffeur for a night out or an event?
Yes. Hourly hire suits dinners, the theatre, concerts and sporting events: you are dropped at the door, the car waits nearby, and you are taken home when you are ready.
Can the plan change on the day?
Within the hours you have booked, yes: add a stop, stay longer somewhere or skip one. If you need the car for longer than booked, tell your chauffeur and we will extend the booking if the car is free.
